Trialo Rincoeño, Inc.,
and its board of directors invites you to the XXX Edition of the
Trialo Rincoeño. This edition will celebrate two events: Sprint and
Olympic.
The Olympic event is of
automatic invitation to all triathletes competing in the Central
American and Caribbean Games to be held in Mayaguez and neighboring
towns in July 2010. The Olympic event will be a test for these
triathletes, as Rincon was selected as the host venue for the
Triathlon of the Central American and Caribbean Games.
Trialo Rincoeño, Inc. has been appointed to organize
this event.
The triathlon of the
Central American and Caribbean Games will have male and female
Individual categories. This event takes place on Saturday 24 July
2010. For the first time in the history of Central American and
Caribbean Games on Sunday 25 July, triathlon relay will take place.
"Sprint"
Distances: 750 meters
swimming, 20 km. cycling and 5 km. running.
Ages for participation:
13 years and older.
Categories and start

$75.00; 5th $50.00

Relay:
(no monetary award)
Olympic Event:
Distance: 1,500 meters
swimming, 40 km. cycling and 10 km. running.
Participation Ages: 16
and older.

Women: 6:35 am

Under-23 (20 to 23 years): 6:35 am
·
Youth Category (16 to 19 years): 6:35 am

$200.00, 5th $100.00

Under-23: 1st $200.00, 2nd $100.00; 3rd $50.00

Junior: 1st $200.00, 2nd $100.00; 3rd $50.00
The time limit for
completion of the event is 2:30 and the competition is ended at this
time.
None of the events will
have double prizes.

Due to the new logistics of the event, there will be
no registration the day of the event.

The deadline for receipt of applications for
participation by post for the Sprint event is May 29, 2010 and for
the Olympic event, May 25, 2010.
